Almost a century ago, the Rose Island amusement park was the happening place in Kentuckiana. People came here to escape the Lousiville city smog. Abandoned for most of the 20th century after a flood, Rose Island is reopen today as a public park with a few abandoned remains left to discover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
